The aquellie shower filter does one job, and does it well: it reduces chlorine and chloramine from your daily shower, hot or cold. Three filtration media work together in a small housing. No bulk, no guesswork, no weaker water pressure.

Three media. No filler.

• Activated carbon soaks up chlorine and organic impurities, including the stuff that gives tap water that "pool" smell
• KDF-55 is a copper-zinc alloy that reduces chlorine and helps stop bacteria from growing inside the filter
• Calcium sulfite goes after chloramine, which most shower filters can't touch. Most filters only handle chlorine. Calcium sulfite is what actually breaks down chloramine at real shower temperatures

Together, this removes up to 99% of chlorine and chloramine before it hits your skin or hair.

Good for daily use, not just sensitive skin

Chlorine and chloramine can dry out your skin, irritate your scalp, and leave your hair feeling dull over time. aquellie won't soften your water or strip your minerals. That's not what it's built for. But it will cut the chemical load your skin and hair deal with every day.

One thing we won't do is claim to soften hard water. If mineral buildup or scale is your issue, that's a different problem than chlorine and chloramine, and we'd rather tell you straight than oversell it.
